Last year, after months of tests and weight loss and nothing coming up, my aunt was rushed to hospital with severe pain and very ill. As she will tell you, God put in with the right doctor who found the large bowel tumour that didn’t show up on any scans and tests. At that point it had spread. It was stage 4. She was given the option of Chemo and be ill for 1-2yrs till the cancer took her or 6 months no chemo. She choose to forgo chemo and start an extremely healthy diet and cancer fighting regime! Fast forward to a year a bit later…here we are. The cancer has spread further and timeline isn’t long. But she is at home, where she wants to be. Not in a hospital alone. Surrounded by the people she loves. We may not have as much time as we want but we do have time to be together. Katie came up with this great idea as with Covid it makes it hard to visit. So leave a message or share a picture. She will love reading the messages and feeling the love from everyone. She has given so much to everyone, it’s one way to give her back a little bit of love she has shared with so many. ❤️
